Hotter Than Hell was created in 1994 and after performing hundreds of dates throughout North America, honed their authentic recreation of the "KISS experience" to razor sharp perfection. KISS themselves have proclaimed Hotter Than Hell to be the only official KISS tribute band. This claim was further validated in 1998 when Gene Simmons hand selected the band to double for KISS in the New Line Cinema feature film 'Detroit Rock City'.

For 2007 founding member Scott McClusky ("Ace Frehley") now takes Hotter Than Hell to the next level by combining forces with another KISS tribute founder, Benny Doro ('Paul Stanley' of Black Diamond fame).
